History & Identity · 24ORE Business School

24ORE Business School's history

24ORE Business School was founded in 1991 as the Business School of Il Sole 24 Ore, the publishing group that owns Italy's leading economic newspaper. From the start the school developed an academic offer closely tied to the group's journalistic and editorial experience, drawing on ongoing dialogue with the newsroom specialized in economics and finance, with sector experts and with the managers who attended courses each year.

Over the decades the school built one of the most extensive management education networks in Italy, progressively expanding its physical locations in Milan and Rome while also developing a digital offer through e-learning platforms. The historic location on Via Monte Rosa in Milan was more recently joined by a new teaching hub at the Mudec complex, the city's museum of cultures. In July 2023 the school was acquired by the Digit'Ed group, a major player in technology education, marking a new phase in the institution's history while retaining its brand and distinctive identity tied to Il Sole 24 Ore's economic and financial information world.
