Luiss Business School is the management school of the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli, a Rome-based university with roots in Pro Deo University, an institution from which John Cabot University would later also split off. Over the decades Luiss established itself as one of Italy's leading private universities in economics, law and political science, while developing a business school dedicated to executive and post-experience management education alongside it.
A turning point came in 2015, when the School, together with the Department of Business and Management, joined the narrow circle of EQUIS-accredited institutions, a recognition reserved for about 1% of business schools worldwide. In 2020 AMBA accreditation followed, marking a path of steady growth in the quality of its executive and MBA programs.
In more recent years Luiss Business School has expanded its physical presence beyond Rome, opening locations in Milan and Belluno, and has strengthened its international profile through participation in global rankings such as the Financial Times.
