Master’s Degree in Administrative Sciences

The Master's Degree in Administrative Sciences is offered by the Department of Political Sciences of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. It is a multidisciplinary pathway integrating the legal, economic, political science, sociological and statistical fields, with lectures, interdisciplinary seminars, laboratories and simulations of real cases. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years and is taught part-time in person in Bari. But knowledge of English or French at B1 level is required. A compulsory internship is provided.

The aim is to train experts in the governance of public and private organisations, with skills applicable in administrations, local authorities, strategic consulting and human resources management. The career opportunities indicated are public administration, local authorities, public and private companies, consulting and doctoral programmes. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
