Second-Level University Master in Digital Dentistry

The Second-Level University Master in Digital Dentistry is offered by the Interdisciplinary Department of Medicine of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The course includes CAD/CAM software for crowns, bridges and prostheses and tools for endodontic, implant, periodontal and orthodontic planning. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

Teaching includes lectures, exercises and clinical internships at the University, with a minimum compulsory attendance of 80%. The master lasts 12 months, is full-time in person in Bari and costs 4,500 euros.

The aim is to provide advanced skills in digital dentistry, to master prosthetic technologies, implant planning and digital orthodontics and to prepare for specialist clinical and research roles. The career opportunities indicated are digital dentist, implantologist and clinical innovation consultant. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
