Master in One Health and Public Health: Nutrition, Environment and Prevention

The Master in One Health and Public Health: Nutrition, Environment and Prevention is a first-level short master, offered by the Department of Precision and Regenerative Medicine and Ionian Area of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. It integrates nutrition, environment and health prevention through thematic modules that address contemporary health risks with an interdisciplinary approach. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts 100 hours of compulsory lessons and is worth 4 credits. It is full-time in person in Bari.

The aim is to develop skills to analyse complex health risks and promote sustainable prevention policies in the public and private sectors. The career opportunities are public health bodies, international organisations, agri-food companies and environmental research institutes. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
