Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence

The Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence is offered by the University of Cagliari. It is founded on four training pillars: computer engineering, systems engineering, security science and artificial intelligence, with project and workshop activities. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course is taught full-time in person in Cagliari, in English. It is a master's degree.

The aim is to train highly specialised engineers in the design, management and maintenance of complex and secure IT systems. Career outcomes include profiles such as cybersecurity analyst, artificial intelligence engineer, information security consultant and network security engineer. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
