Master’s Degree in Multimedia Production

The Master's Degree in Multimedia Production is offered by the University of Cagliari. The programme combines core humanities with a specialisation in film, audiovisual and musicological studies, with historical, sociological and artistic courses, preparatory workshops and optional activities. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course is full-time and in person in Cagliari. The language is Italian. The programme culminates in an original multimedia project.

The aim is to train versatile professionals able to coordinate, design and produce audiovisual, musical and multimedia communication products. Career opportunities include roles in the cultural, information, promotional and artistic sectors, the film industry, digital events, music production and digital storytelling. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
