Master’s Degree in Landscape, Innovation and Sustainability

The Master's Degree in Landscape, Innovation and Sustainability is offered by the University of Camerino, School of Architecture and Design, based in Ascoli Piceno. It combines interdisciplinary workshops, called Ateliers, with single-discipline courses in landscape architecture, agronomy, environmental engineering and ecology, with a focus on sustainability and the ecological transition. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years, divided into four semesters, and is full-time and in person. The language is Italian, with a B1 English requirement. Curricular internships are compulsory and may take place at internal, external or international facilities.

The aim is to train landscape architects with multidisciplinary preparation for the sustainable design and management of open spaces. Career opportunities include public bodies, professional practices, design companies and research centres. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
