Master’s Degree in Architecture

The Master's Degree in Architecture is offered by the University of Camerino, School of Architecture and Design. It is organised into three thematic clusters, Climate, Heritage and Metropolis, and includes workshops, specific courses, an internship and a thesis, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years, divided into four semesters, and is full-time and in person in Camerino. A placement service is offered, with internships, traineeships and collaborations with public and private bodies.

The aim is to train designers able to deal with the complexity of the contemporary design process, integrating humanistic and scientific skills, with a focus on territorial and urban design. Career opportunities are freelance practice, multidisciplinary teams in public and private bodies and post-graduate research and specialisation paths. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
