Second-Level Master in International Relations and Scenarios

The Second-Level Master in International Relations and Scenarios is offered by the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. The main subjects are international law, the history of international relations, international economic policy, ethics and foreign languages, with practical simulations and assessment exercises in line with the tests of the diplomatic career competition. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The master lasts one year and is worth 60 credits. The format is mixed, online and in person, with compulsory 80% attendance, in Frosinone. The cost is €6,000.

The main aim is to prepare participants for the diplomatic career competition, with secondary applications in international organisations, public institutions and supranational bodies. Career opportunities are diplomatic officer, international relations consultant, geopolitical analyst and international policy specialist. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
