Master’s Degree in Psychology

The Master's Degree in Psychology is a qualifying course offered by the University of Catania. It offers two tailored curricula, Clinical-Rehabilitative and Legal-Social-Institutional, covering neuroscience, clinical psychology, rehabilitation, development, legal-forensic psychology and work psychology. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years, full-time and in person in Catania. The language is Italian, with a B1 English requirement. Compulsory integrated internships are provided at public, private and third-sector facilities.

The aim is to train psychology professionals able to enter specialist fields, with the qualification to practise and access to the professional register. The programme facilitates EUROPSY certification. Career opportunities include clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, work psychologist, legal psychologist, school psychologist and psychotherapist. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience.
