Master in Quantum Science and Technology

The Second-Level Master in Quantum Science and Technology is offered by the University of Catania, Ettore Majorana Department of Physics and Astronomy. The programme includes 279 hours of lectures and 771 hours of individual study on quantum computer science, quantum information, computing, communication, metrology and sensing, artificial intelligence applications, machine learning, algorithms, networking, cybersecurity and solid-state materials. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The master lasts 12 months, is worth 60 credits and is delivered in person in Catania, with compulsory attendance of 80%. The language is Italian, but an excellent knowledge of English is required. The compulsory company internship is 400 hours. The cost is €3,356.
