Master in Paediatric Psycho-Oncology

The Second-Level Master in Paediatric Psycho-Oncology is offered by the University of Catania, Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine. The programme covers the aetiology and protocols of childhood cancers, paediatric palliative care, relational rehabilitation and complementary care. It includes 240 hours of lectures, 960 hours of personal study and 300 hours of internship. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The master lasts one year, is worth 60 credits and is delivered in person in Catania, with compulsory attendance of 80%. The cost is €3,000.

The aim is to train specialists able to manage the clinical, emotional, relational and ethical aspects of paediatric haemato-oncology throughout the entire care pathway.
