Master’s Degree in Sport Management

The Master's Degree in Sport Management is offered by the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. It offers two curricula: one in Italian dedicated to the management of sports organisations and one in English focused on sports event management, with professional internships, seminar activities and soft skills modules. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years and is delivered in a mixed format, with in-person attendance and distance learning, in Frosinone. The language is Italian and English, depending on the curriculum. Professional internships and Erasmus+ mobility are included.

The aim is to train professionals for managerial roles in sports clubs, federations and promotion bodies, with skills in event planning, facility management and sport as an economic and social lever. Career opportunities are sports club manager, sports consultant, event manager, sports social media manager and sports business lecturer. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
