Master’s Degree in Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities

The Master's Degree in Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities is offered by the University of Cagliari. It is structured in lectures, workshops, seminars and compulsory internships, with a balance between theory and practice and a focus on prevention techniques, functional recovery and the needs of healthy people and people with disabilities of different age groups. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years, full-time and in person in Cagliari. The language is Italian.

The aim is to train professionals able to design and conduct preventive and adapted motor activities in public and private contexts, with skills in prevention, wellbeing and inclusion. Career outcomes are gyms, rehabilitation centres, sports associations and healthcare and school institutions. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study.
