Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering is offered by the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. The course combines lectures, practical sessions, laboratory activities, technical visits and internships, with a focus on civil engineering, environmental engineering and sustainability. A double degree option with the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in the United States is available. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years and is full-time and in person in Frosinone. The language is English.

The aim is to train versatile engineers able to design, plan and manage civil and environmental projects according to sustainability criteria, with preparation for international careers. Career opportunities are many: traditional civil engineering, innovative environmental engineering, private and public bodies, design firms and leadership and consulting roles at national and international level. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
