Master’s Degree in Pedagogical Sciences

The Master's Degree in Pedagogical Sciences is offered by the Department of Education, Psychology and Communication Sciences of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. It offers two distinct curricula: one oriented towards pedagogical consultancy and educational supervision, the other focused on the figure of the school pedagogue. The first year is common and the second is differentiated. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course is taught full-time in Bari. Structured training internships are provided.

The aim is to train professionals able to work in educational research, in the design of training interventions and in pedagogical consultancy and management, with preparation for access to the Register of Pedagogues under Law 55/2024. The career opportunities indicated are pedagogue, academic research, educational consultancy and coordination of public and private educational services. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
