Master’s Degree in Environmental Biology

The Master's Degree in Environmental Biology is offered by the Department of Biosciences, Biotechnology and Environment (DBBA) of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The programme emphasises biodiversity, microbiology, ecology, biochemistry and environmental technologies, with theoretical lessons, practical activities and a training internship. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

Teaching is full-time in person, in Bari. But knowledge at B2 level in English or another European Union language is required. The internship is included in the pathway as a direct bridge to the professional world.

The aim is to train professionals able to understand, monitor and manage biodiversity and biological processes to address the challenges of the ecological transition. The career opportunities indicated are research bodies, environmental companies, public administration and international organisations.
