Master’s Degree in Mathematics

The Master's Degree in Mathematics is offered by the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. It offers three tracks, general, applied mathematics and finance support, and educational, with semester courses, exams, internships and a thesis project. It includes elements of data science, artificial intelligence and cryptography. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years and is worth 120 credits. It is in person, full-time, in Bari. The language is Italian. Curricular internships and placements at bodies, companies and schools are provided.

The aim is to train graduates with in-depth cultural preparation in the field of mathematics, able to tackle complex problems and carry out independent research, with enhanced IT and communication skills. The career opportunities are academic research, the doctorate, the economic-financial and technological sectors, IT, data science and teaching.
