Second-Level Master in Advanced and Zygomatic Implantology

The Second-Level Master in Advanced and Zygomatic Implantology is offered by the University of Brescia. It integrates theoretical training with clinical practice on graftless techniques (tilted, zygomatic, pterygoid and trans-sinus implants) and on grafting techniques (sinus lift, block grafts, GBR) for the management of severe maxillary atrophy. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The master lasts two years, from February 2025 to February 2027, and is therefore already under way. Activities take place in person at the Spedali Civili of Brescia, with internships at affiliated sites. A minimum attendance of 75% is required. The cost is €15,516, payable in two instalments.

The aim is to train specialists in complex implant rehabilitations in public and private facilities. Career outcomes are reference roles in advanced implantology, such as oral surgeon, implantologist, prosthodontist and clinical researcher. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
