Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering is offered by the University of Brescia, Department of Civil, Environmental, Land, Building Engineering and Mathematics. It integrates solid civil engineering foundations with advanced environmental skills, with attention to sustainability, urban regeneration and international regulations, through lectures, workshops, seminars and placements. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years, full-time and in person in Brescia. All teaching activities are in English. Placements abroad and the possibility of a double degree with foreign universities are planned.

The aim is to train professionals able to face contemporary engineering challenges in the civil and environmental sector, with technical, design and managerial skills for international contexts. Career outcomes are civil and environmental engineer, environmental designer and manager, at companies, design firms, public bodies and international organisations. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study.
