Master in Project Manager and Digital Innovation in the Tourism and Cultural Sector – Promandit

The first-level Master in Project Manager and Digital Innovation in the Tourism and Cultural Sector (Promandit) is offered by the Department of Humanistic, Scientific and Social Innovation of the University of Basilicata. It integrates project management and digital strategy skills applied to tourism, with modules on innovative technologies for cultural heritage, on digital communication and on the promotion of territorial sustainability. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The master lasts one year and has a blended format: online, with attendance obligations in Potenza. Internship opportunities with tourism and cultural bodies are mentioned.

The aim is to prepare graduates for the role of project manager in the design of innovative tourist services, cultural promotion and the development of digital products. The career opportunities indicated are public agencies, cultural enterprises, tourism promotion agencies and startups digitalising services. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
