Master’s Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology

The Master's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology is offered by the Department of Biosciences, Biotechnology and Environment (DBBA) of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. It offers two curricula, molecular and neurobiological, with in vivo, in vitro and in silico methodologies. It includes laboratory components, specialist seminars and an internship of about a year. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course is taught full-time in person in Bari. The language is Italian, with an entry requirement of English B2.

The aim is to develop high-level theoretical and practical skills for research and the biological professions, with an emphasis on operational autonomy and scientific communication in English. The career opportunities are researchers, trainers and managers in public and private bodies, biotechnology industries and diagnostic laboratories, with the possibility of private practice after the state exam.
