Master’s Degree in Philosophical Sciences

The Master's Degree in Philosophical Sciences is offered by the Department of Humanistic Research and Innovation of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The study plan integrates core and supplementary courses, language and computer laboratories, internships and placements, and concludes with a Master's thesis. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course is taught in person full-time, with compulsory exams on site, and offers the possibility of part-time enrolment. Internships are included in the pathway. An opportunity for an international double degree with the University of Granada is indicated.

The aim is to develop critical, logical and argumentative skills and a solid knowledge of philosophical traditions. The career opportunities indicated are academic, teaching, cultural and professional careers in the humanities sector. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
