Master in Ethics of Peace, Artificial Intelligence and Education for Sustainability

The first-level Master in Ethics of Peace, Artificial Intelligence and Education for Sustainability, of the University of Bari Aldo Moro, integrates humanistic and scientific knowledge to address the great challenges of contemporary society: from the protection of universal rights to the ethical impact of artificial intelligence, up to biopsychosocial and environmental well-being. It is organised in interdisciplinary ethical, pedagogical, legal, economic, social-health and environmental modules. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

Teaching is in a mixed format, in person and remote, with lessons from Thursday to Saturday. The master lasts one year and is worth 60 credits, with a cost of 500 euros. Ample space is given to practical exercises, seminars and internship periods.

The aim is to train professionals with a multidimensional vision of educational, social and technological issues, able to promote the ethics of peace and sustainability in the workplace. The related roles are environmental educator, ethical compliance expert, artificial intelligence expert, sustainability management expert, teacher trainer and cultural mediator. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
