Master’s Degree in Economics and Management

The Master's Degree in Economics and Management is offered by the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The first year has a common basis in economics, management and law; the second year offers specialised curricula in Marketing, Markets, Strategies and Organisation and Public Administration Management. Teaching includes lectures, exercises, laboratories, seminars and internships. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years and is taught in person in Bari, with some remote activities; the second year offers online teaching for the MAP curriculum. The language is Italian. Internship and placement activities are an integral part of the pathway. An international double degree with the Université de Lorraine and with the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic University (Albania) is provided.

The aim is to develop high-level managerial and consulting skills for roles of responsibility in the public and private sectors. The career opportunities are consultancy, multinational companies, public bodies and non-profit organisations. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
