The First-Level University Master in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in Med (Professional Master) is offered by the Department of Law of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach that integrates philosophy, politics and economics with attention to the Mediterranean. It includes lessons, practical exercises, seminars, individual study, an internship and a final thesis. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The master is in English, full-time in person, with compulsory attendance, in Bari. It lasts 1,675 hours in total, is worth 67 credits and costs 1,500 euros. The internship is included in the programme structure.

The aim is to develop analytical, critical and interdisciplinary skills to address the political, economic and cultural challenges of the Mediterranean area. The career opportunities are in international organisations, public and private bodies, think tanks and academic research, as European policy analyst, public finance expert and European legislation expert. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
