Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance and Business

The Master's Degree in Economics, Finance and Business is offered by the Department of Economics and Finance of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The first year is common to all; from the second year it divides into two tracks: Finance and Markets, and Business and Professions. It includes lectures, specialist seminars, simulations and internships. The pathway is aimed at those who wish to deepen and update their skills, with a structure that links theoretical reflection to concrete applications in the relevant professional context.

The course lasts two years and is taught full-time in person in Bari. Internships are included in the programme to facilitate entry into the job market.

The aim is to train experts in economic-financial analysis and business management, with skills to work in public and private contexts. The career opportunities indicated are companies, public bodies, consulting firms and independent professions, with roles in finance, consulting and public administration. Upon completion, those who successfully finish the pathway obtain the qualification provided and can use the skills acquired in their own professional field or in further study. Concrete prospects nevertheless depend on each participant's starting profile and experience. Those who work should carefully assess the commitment required, in terms of weekly hours and attendance, to understand whether the programme is compatible with other professional or personal commitments.
